What to Expect

Cherry picking tours last about 50 minutes and accommodate up to 100 guests per slot.

Visitors begin at the Ionia Farm Stall, where they are welcomed with a refreshing Ionia Thirst Buster cherry juice. From there, a guide leads them into the orchards, sharing stories about the farm’s history, cultivation methods, and fruit‑handling processes.

Once in the orchard, guests are free to taste cherries straight from the tree; as many as they like; and fill a 250g punnet with cherries they’ve picked themselves to take home. It’s an immersive, hands‑on experience that blends education, indulgence, and fun. Families, couples, and groups all find joy in the simple act of harvesting fruit together.
