It is advisable to bring cash for the unforgettable Cherry Picking tour, Christmas market and to support the delicious food stalls. However, an ATM and credit card facilities and will be available.

Yes, but we would like to remind you that we are dependent of mother nature for our harvest. The Cherry season starts end of October until end of December. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you buy cherries rather earlier.
You are not allowed to bring your own beverages within the premises of Ionia Cherry farm. We offer a wide variety of refreshing beverages and delicious food and ask of our friends to support them during the festival.

Rain or shine, the show must go on. Our classic red wagons are equipped to accommodate rainy weather with a smile. When exploring the orchards, bring your own umbrella.
Unfortunately, not, make sure to book a tour in advance to avoid disappointment.
In the event that a tour should be cancelled, the following applies;
cancellations TWO days in advance, will be fully refunded.
Cancellation to be received in writing (per email) and send to ioniacherries@bloukruin.co.za at Ionia Cherry Farm.
Due to safety reasons, we are not allowed to accommodate pets on the tour.
We are a pet friendly festival; however, it is your responsibility to scoop the poop.
Please be at the Farm-stall at least 20 minutes before departure with your ticket in your hand/ on phone.
Due to the nature of the tour, we can assist wheelchair users in enjoying the orchards and cherry experience. For more information, feel free to contact us.
